A valuable resource providing Connecticut small businesses with consulting services and training.

• Serve as the Interim Training Director-2005
• Create and coordinate over 25 area workshops designed specifiaclly for existing small businesses
• Develop the CSBDC 5-year Strategic Business Plan
• Prepare CSBDC Internal Needs Assessment

As intern training director, Leila Fecho assisted the state program plan and delivered 25 valuable training programs for small businesses. From pre-game design and content development for identifying great speakers and revue selection to statewide and regional public relations and marketing. Assisting the CSBDC in developing their 5-year strategic business plan, Leila conducted a series of planning sessions and retreats. As an expert facilitator, Leila helped the staff and board members discover and examine their Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (the SWOT method). Taking input from key questions, Leila helped the CSBDC clarify their mission, vision and plan for the future.
The strategic plan will be implemented over the next five years, in a series of logical steps to help them meet their self-identified goals & objectives.
